Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu (1,400 m). After clearing customs and immigration, you'll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. You have the evening to relax and prepare for your trek. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu/Lukla/Phakding

Option 1: Flight to Lukla (2,840 m) from Kathmandu – a 35-minute scenic flight followed by a trek to Phakding (2,610 m) for 3 to 4 hours. Option 2: Drive to Manthali/Ramechhap (474 m) – a 5 to 6-hour drive, then a 20-minute flight to Lukla, and trekking to Phakding for 3 to 4 hours. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Phakding

Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) for 5 to 6 hours. The trail offers stunning views while passing through forests and crossing high suspension bridges. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

Day 4: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar

This day is for acclimatization. You'll hike to Hotel Everest View (3,880 m) and return, which takes about 4 to 5 hours. This helps your body adjust to higher altitudes. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860 m) for 5 to 6 hours. The trail offers magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Tengboche.

Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m) for 5 to 6 hours. The trail gradually ascends, offering panoramic views of the mountains. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Dingboche.

Day 7: Acclimatization in Dingboche

An acclimatization day. Hike to Nangkartsang Peak (5,083 m) and return, taking about 4 to 5 hours. This further aids in acclimatization. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Dingboche.

Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910 m) for 5 to 6 hours. The trail continues to showcase breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Lobuche.

Day 9: Trek to Everest Base Camp and Gorak Shep

Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) and then return to Gorak Shep (5,164 m) for 8 to 9 hours. Explore the base camp and its surroundings. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Gorak Shep.

Day 10: Kala Patthar and Return to Lukla

Early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5,555 m) for stunning sunrise views, then descend to Gorak Shep for 4 to 5 hours. Take a shared helicopter flight from Gorak Shep to Lukla (2,840 m) for 15 to 20 minutes. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Lukla.

Day 11: Return to Kathmandu

Flight back to Kathmandu for 35 minutes or Manthali/Ramechhap for 20 minutes from Lukla, followed by a 5 to 6-hour drive to Kathmandu (if applicable). Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure
